This great website is about photos and distribution. It displays 12,000+ photos of 1014 Tanzanian bird species and 269 butterfly species. Most were taken in Tanzania; some, in other countries where ranges cross borders. The bird section may be searched from a list of common names, by taxonomic order. There are distribution maps from the Tanzania Bird Atlas and breeding range maps.
